MARCH 11, 2013 — Singapore headquartered Miclyn Express Offshore (MEO) has completed upgrading works on its 70.25 m x 16.00 multipurpose offshore support vessel (MPSV) Endeavour.

The project was undertaken by a specialized team based in MEO's Batam, Indonesia, shipyard.

The team has had previous experience with upgrading works such as jumboization, DP2 upgrading and complex vessel conversions.

Endeavour has undergone various upgrading works including cable laying and installation of a taut wire skid foundation. The mezzanine deck was extended by an additional 6 m x 4 m with a Launch and Recovery Systems (LARS) ensuring that she can handle ROV lifting works while giving more space on the main deck for the remaining ROV spread.

A new four man cabin has also been added to further expand her accommodation capacity to 55 men, enabling more special purpose personnel to stay onboard.
