Yes, you need to fill in your CV at Crewing24.com in order to apply for jobs. The more completed your CV is, the better are your chances of landing a job.

How much does it cost to use Crewing24.com?
NAUTICAL CREW has always been and will be free for job seekers. All that the candidate needs to do is fill in his CV with as much details as possible, upload scanned documents and browse through the vacancies regularly.

Who can see my CV details?
Your CV details will be fully visible to companies on whose job adverts you have applied for. Other job seekers cannot see your CV. They can see only your public profile.

How do I search for a job?
You can search job through our search engine by choosing desired ship type, department, rank or combination of those searching parameters. Also, you can find jobs by looking at company's profile where you will find list of that company's published jobs.

I tried searching for a job but my search returned no results – why?
If the search is too specific, and the search turns out with no results, try imputing less search details to find a job close to your wishes.

How do I get more detail about a job?
You have to be a registered user to get more job details. Once you are logged in, just click on the position of your interest, and you will be redirected to specific job details.

How do I apply for a job?
When you open full job description (by clicking on job title) you will have a button “apply”. By simple click on that button your CV will be send to employer. You can apply only once to same job.
You can also download your CV in PDF and send it by e-mail to company of your interest even if that company is not currently on Crewing24.com.

Why can't I find “apply” button?
If you have already applied to that designated job, “apply” button will disappear and replaised with text: “You have already applied for this position!“.

Is Crewing24.com a marine recruitment agent?

Crewing24.com is not a recruitment agent. We are professional maritime job board supporting your P.R., marketing, and international sourcing for best talent. We present company fleet, activities, services, vacancies etc. to global community of maritime professionals raising awareness of company and increasing visibility of all activities and talent needs.

As such we can make no guarantees to the CV's published on the website. By agreeing to our terms and conditions job seekers agree to accept full responsibility for conducting all reasonable checks before entering into any contractual arrangements.

I am a recruitment agent, can I advertise on your site?
All recruiters can benefit from the use of Crewing24.com to advertise their vacancies. Owners, managers, agents, etc. are all welcome.

How do I advertise on your site?
If you would like to publish your job vacancies and your companies profile you can register for free and create your company presentation on your own, or you can contact us to do it for you. If you are interested in banner advertising please contact us.

How do I pay to advertise my vacancies?
You can generate an Invoice yourself from “Prices” page or contact us and will send you an invoice. Also send as your Advertise with specific sizes: Top Banner (560x110), Side banner (200x200 or 200x100) and Footer banner (170x100). You’ll find more info once your loged in or contact us.

What currencies will you accept?
All of our advertising plans are priced in EURO (€). If you like to pay in other currencies, please contact us.

Will I be charged VAT for this service?
In most cases VAT will not be charged. It is very important, that when you register to Crewing24.com you’ll enter correct VAT number, because our system will check the number from European VAT registry. All companies registered in Estonia will be charged with VAT. Also VAT will be charged from Companies registered in European Union that don’t have VAT number.

What advertising opportunities are available to me?
There are 3 different packages with different numbers of job adverts included (look “Prices”). If none of these packages is suitable for you please contact us so we can offer you your tailor made package.
There is also banner marketing system available for clients marketing and P.R.

Once I have posted my vacancy on the site can I modify details of the advert?
Yes you can modify the details of your vacancy at any time during the period your advert is posted on the site.

How can I further increase the visibility of my postings?
By purchasing "Bronze" package you gain small exposure and "Silver" and "Gold" have bigger exposure, number of adverts and additional services.

How do job seekers apply for the vacancy?
When registered job seekers express an interest in your vacancy you will receive an email from the site including the details of the job seeker and a link to their resume and their CV. Having reviewed the job seekers details it will then be your decision if you wish to contact the job seeker further.

Is there a limit to the number of job seeker details I can search on?
No there is no limit to the number of job seeker details you can search on.

I like the site but I do not have time to manage my postings how can you help?
Our enhanced service lets you pass on the management of your job adverts to us. Please email us details of your new vacancy postings or changes to your existing postings and leave the rest to us - total hassle free advertising.

How long will my received job applications be visible?
Your received job applications with full details and contacts will be visible during your advertising period or better said Subscription period. When your subscription and linking adverts expire you will be able only to see users ID and service records but no contact details. This is why we encourage clients to use annual subscriptions as full candidate details are available for 12 months. While your vacancy is active you can print or save as PDF any interesting job application that you have received.
